When traveling to France by car we always take a punt on random cheap bottles of wine at the hypermarket. If we like a particular bottle, it gets photographed so we can try and find it again next time we're there:
This one went down will with Julia!
She likes rosé; I'm a deep fruity red kind of person 😅
The Huawei P30 Pro smartphone used to snap this uses a ToF depth sensing camera to supplement the main camera which makes its fake bokeh blur more realistic. Unfortunately this blues the eyeing at the edges of the bottle!
These are still very young and breading for the second time. A few weeks ago they lay their eggs on the heater and next day all my fish had poached eggs for breakfast. Have bread tropicals for many years and yes Angel's when full size will have ago at almost anything. Guppies are a good source of live food for them and help to satisfy their killer instinct.
I keep tropical fish as well - which you might already know, Ron. I currently have some West Australian rainbowfish, pepper cories and some platys.
Angels look very serene until you witness how much of a passing fish it can fit inside its mouth They are of course a species of Cichlid - intelligent but often ferocious!
Brilliant. I'm pleased this thread has done so well. As this was intended more as a place to show your daily shots rather than top quality images, here is my image of the day taken with my tablet computer. My two angel fish lying eggs on my aquarium pump pipe. Fingers crossed they may hatch out.
Thanks for your support. I started this thread way back on 22/11/2017 and it has generated 60,782 views. Sadly it seems to have now run its course and there has not been any new post since 25/11/2018. It created some activity and hopefully some enjoyment for those who took part. I'm now planning to do something similar which I hope you will also fine interesting. This forum unlike many other photographic forums has a gallery in which members have placed their images. Many of the members are no longer active here but there work remains in the gallery for us to view and appreciate. I intend to start a thread "All Our Yesterdays" in which I will select images from the gallery and comment on them. I do hope you too will join in and comment on what you think of the selected image. Watch this space.
Two from me for today - both from Tuesday in Oxford.
First on were leading lights of the NWOCR (new wave of classick rock) scene, Massive Wagons - very difficult to shoot as he never stops pogoing, jumping, moving or running round the stage.
He stopped to point at me when I had the 8mm manual focus fisheye on the 7d. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
