That's a brilliant idea. We do get loads of birds here feeding and I have great difficulty trying to get close to them before they take off. Zooming through the window has produced some results but they even see me moving indoors. My Sony video camera seems to produce better quality shots through glass than my Lumix camera. Have a remote camera release but never get around to setting it up. Must try harder as they used to put on my school reports.

Comes close to being my favourite bird,in my younger days we had a feeding station with the front wall made of neutral density perspex, we could watch them feeding about two feet away, it was great being that close.Originally posted by Rodbender View PostWe had a lesser spotted woodpecker on that feeder so grabbed the camera for a shot.
