It's mainland England. If you can sort out what those things that look like 'boxes' are you have a big clue.

They look like open carriages on a miniature railway to me.

That'll do for me. The tower folly at Littlestone built as a water tower in 1890 when a gent call Henry Tubbs wanted to make the area into a new holiday resort.

The idea of my rather broad hint was that someone else would answer so that I didn't have to come up with a new picture.

Any volunteers?

There's all sorts of interest on the Romney Marshes. Littlestone was so called as the shingle had smaller shingle stones than Greatstone. Great kebabs in Greatstone too.

Also a Mulberry harbour off the coast at Lydd, sound mirrors etc etc. Strange, intriguing area to spend time.

I used to visit the Kent coast ranges at Hythe and heard about this, and other interesting structures down the coast. I've never seen it but it's down that way - I think !
