No, it's a Coal Tit, which is much smaller than a Nuthatch.

This is a Nuthatch. They're usually quite easy to distinguish because of the way they move, kinda 'slinky' and often seen perched upside dpwn on a feeder.

They're larger than any of the Tit family, a sort of greyish blue with an orangey/pinkish chest. unmistakeable once you've seen you first one (which can resemble an eel-like creature slithering down and around a peanut feeder or branch).

                No problem.

Yours is a very good picture of the Coal Tit. They're fast movers, usually stop to grab a seed then off again in less than a heartbeat, so you did very well with that picture.

Now I have looked at it again it does look like a coal-tit, which occasionally visit our feeder, but I have never seen a nuthatch apart from in photos

Today I tried experimenting with my new phone camera's "automatic panorama" function. (My apologies if you need to scroll!)

It's a beautiful Acer, we have one too. Ours is at least 31 years old and it was here when we moved into the house (31 years ago). It's very slow growing.

Foxes like to hide under and one of them poked it's head out from under it only yesterday afternoon. They blend in well with the colour of the leaves.
