A few from BRM day at Bourne today celebrating the 50th anniversary of Graham Hill winning the Drivers and BRM the Constuctors Grand Prix Championship

ERA - the driver described it as 'driving an armchair strapped to a ladder'

The famous V16 1.5 litre supercharged engine (600bhp at 12000 rpm and 138db) being typically temperamental. The sound of this engine in the confines of the town really had to be experienced.

Thank you so much for those, John. You've saved us making a 150-160 mile round trip.

The stark emptiness of the Rotunda site is so sad. I'm not sure I ever want to see that area built up but I suppose we just have to accept 'progress' eh. The way everything is changing is kinda sad too - I'd almost forgotten there were once such things as a boat train.

Beautiful shot, Kurt! Love the dark contrast from the clouds and extraordinary lighting on the structure.

Actually took this on Saturday, not today, but thought I'd post it anyway.

Because of the draught many flowers in our area are reblooming.
