Not an aroma diffuser. To give an idea of the size, the yellow part in the image is approx 3mm from top to bottom.

To help this along here is another image, the same as the first one but not cropped so much.

It's an Aerosol of some sort! I'll guess at Spray Mount Adhesive

OK! Slightly different. This is the setup I use to do some of my Macro shots, but what was I photographing this time

Just by way of interest, all these little LCD TVs, will not work next year when they turn off the analogue signal, so they are going cheap on ebay and make really good live view monitors, and don't wear the camera battery out

As it's a bit easy, you will have to be really spot on with the ID of the subject.

How do you connect it to the camera? Is it just USB?

The socket on the camera has multiple functions. As well as the USB functions it also streams a video signal of whatever is on the camera LCD. It automatically switches the LCD off as well, so works just like a big rear screen. It's not high resolution but perfectly adequate for composition, focus and all the control/menu screens. If you got a lead with a yellow RCA plug with your camera, stick it in any TV and try it out...

Is the object being photographed a plug on a data cable for a mobile phone?

I think it might be a lens cap since i think it says 52mm and made in china

Thanks for the info Graham, I'll give it a go when i can find my cables.
