What other puzzle would people living in Vermont choose ?
Good to see your keeping yourselves occupied.

Back to slide scanning. I wish I could get better quality scans but the originals weren't all that good. I ran across these two shots yesterday. I took them in the late 70s with an Argus C3, You can probably guess who the woman is. She and my step-mother used to play cards. Apologies if I've already posted this.

Unfortunately, I do not recognise the woman. But I do recognise a Volkswagen Karmann Ghia. Nice car.
Wouldn't worry too much about the quality of the images. They are authentic. I enjoy seeing them.Canon 7D 50D 400D Canon 300mm f4 L IS Canon 70 - 200 f2.8 L IS Sigma 150 - 500 f6.3 OS Sigma 50mm f1.4

Several years ago I purchased a slide digitally copy machine but found that the quality was far from good. So I made a cardboard slide holder and taped it to a window. Set camera on small desktop stand close to it. Results were very much better. See below one of my copied slides.

That's the Baroness Maria von Trapp. She and her family settled in Stowe Vermont after the war.Originally posted by Garry View PostUnfortunately, I do not recognise the woman. But I do recognise a Volkswagen Karmann Ghia. Nice car.

Still scanning the slides. Somehow I acquired about a dozen of my father's slides from Japan. We lived in Nagoya from 1947-49. Here's one of them from more than seventy years ago.

My daughter sent me this. It's our granddaughter saying, "Six feet. Not a step closer!"
