It really beggars belief, doesn't it (by the way, the 5g cartoon was brilliant).
In other news, my son in Spain is at last allowed out for an hour's exercise with the tiddler.
In France, they've been allowed out for 1 hour up to 1km from home. Lockdown is going to be eased gradually, depending on where you live. In Bordeaux, for example, where the cases have been very low, there'll be the most easing. Where my daughter lives in Strasbourg and there have been (and still are) a lot of cases, very litte easing.

Lol Garry - I left it too late
Still musing on an Irish passport (grandmother) but still haven't ordered copy documents yet. I managed to get on to Ancestry UK during a recent free period and got back to 1830 in a couple of hours!
Both kids want me to live in their country but it's difficult to choose. I speak French pretty well (half way to degree level, but rusty) and struggling to pick up Spanish. Strasbourg - too ruddy cold in winter/too hot in summer, love the area around Nice but can't afford it! In and around Malaga - way too hot in summer, I hear airconditioning costs more than my current annual heating bill.
Who knows? especially now. I'm waiting to hear what Brexshit will bring for pensioners before I jump ship.

It is hard to take any news paper seriously. They all have their own agendas. All are bias. But they are good for giving us a laugh or for raising our blood pressure

Well we have the road map for getting out of lockdown, my biggest worry is not with the plan as such just it is starting too soon, I would have like to have seen two more weeks of dropping numbers in deaths and infections.
Interesting results from Germany

Personaly I don't think we will get over this as quickly as the younger generation. I value my time a good deal more now than I did when I was much younger. Not having the freedom to do anything anytime hits us hard. It's time we will never get back so resent being told how to use it. All in all I suspect it's for our own good. But I'm certainly not enjoying this lockdown.Regards Ron. Live each day as if it was your last. One day you will be right. Down sized to Nikon s7000 compact camera.

I always enjoy watching your videos. I feel I know you and Penny. Keep them coming.Originally posted by patmoore View PostPenny and I have a Travel Channel on YouTube. Shortly after the Lockdown began, we put together a "Non Travel" video. The NBC TV station in our state aired part of it one night. Apologies if I've posted this before.

You sure know how to live it up, Mike...…………..
We took a nice long drive to fill the car up with diesel as I haven't put any in since this started. When I say a long drive. I mean 6 mile round trip
I could have gone to a closer petrol station that is only a couple of hundred metres away. But I thought I'd make a trip of it.
Hope you picnic went well.
Ooh. We did take a detour to park at the seafront and take a short stroll along the prom.Canon 7D 50D 400D Canon 300mm f4 L IS Canon 70 - 200 f2.8 L IS Sigma 150 - 500 f6.3 OS Sigma 50mm f1.4

Completely agree, Ron. We are NOT enjoying the lock down either. We are taking things very carefully. We now only shop every two weeks, to try to avoid people.Originally posted by Rodbender View PostPersonaly I don't think we will get over this as quickly as the younger generation. Our extensive trip out today was 99% in a car where we are safe. We take two walks a week, to exercise, and do our very best to keep clear of people.
I think it is going to be a while before we see any form of normality if ever.Canon 7D 50D 400D Canon 300mm f4 L IS Canon 70 - 200 f2.8 L IS Sigma 150 - 500 f6.3 OS Sigma 50mm f1.4
