Not sure where the artefacts originate from. The zoom is rated as 600mm optical with the option of 1200mm super zoom. Could be the result of in camera software or the fact I always resize before uploading to the forum. I do wonder what sort of results the add on multiplier would produce. Won't be buying one to try as can't afford it for such limited use.Regards Ron. Live each day as if it was your last. One day you will be right. Down sized to Nikon s7000 compact camera.

I'm not too familiar with the add-on but if t simply fits on the front it could be quite good; no light is lost like a teleconverter. But they can be heavy and bulky.

Due to carpet being laid in our office, we had to decamp with files to Buckingham. Hadn't been over there for around 9 months so thought I'd try out the Pixel phone in the church. The lights weren't on, so this was taken using the night sight feature, which has a long exposure and enriches colours slightly.
I downloaded it into Lightroom to correct verticals and distortion. The only thing I'm slightly unhappy about is the highlights in the stained glass windows are blown, but it came down to a choice of capturing the shadows or the blowing the highlights. Since that was the smaller area, the shadows won.

Hard to believe that phones can produce such superb images. The very slight blown high lights of the glass that you mention, do not distract from the image at all Caz. I'd be very pleased with this.
The colours look very bright, yet realistic, and the photo is sharp. Details are good from the front to the back.Canon 7D 50D 400D Canon 300mm f4 L IS Canon 70 - 200 f2.8 L IS Sigma 150 - 500 f6.3 OS Sigma 50mm f1.4
