One of the groups I'm in on Flickr are having their April challenge - a picture a day for a month (it also runs in October) - not so daunting as a 365.
Last night I dashed out and got one of the last camellias in the garden, tonight I ventured a little further... about 400 yards. I'm lucky that I live on the edge of a village, and can be out in the countryside within minutes.
The first image is of the lambs near the pond - there's also a badger sett there, although I've never managed to catch them. It's quite near the road, and their tunnelling has caused that side of the road to sink. It's difficult to repair, because the local authority don't want to damage the sett.
The second is looking right across the field, which is called Bufton (the local fields were named after the old British colonies- there's a small housing estate called Manitoba). I went out because I thought at last we might be getting a decent sunset.

The other day when I was walking around, I took my daughter with me. After a while shooting she asked me to use my camra and try a shoot. I asked why. She told me that our car looks good at that spot where it stays. I couldn't see that way, but kids have a better imagination.
She took that photo and asked me, after showing me the screen:
o you see it now? The statue are waving happily and the color contrast between the car and the gate looks in my eyes great."

Likewise Barr1e. I am not a great fish eater. But my wife would also love that.

Love the effect these give, at a quick glance it looks like the focus is at different levelsOriginally posted by patmoore View PostDigging through my archives I stumbled across these. I put some assorted flowers and weeds on my flatbed scanner. I turned off the lights in the room before scannng. Obviously I needed to clean the glass of the scanner better. When Spring finally comes (snow again yesterday) I'll try again.

Something rather unusual about these images, Pat.
The dark background, gives the appearance of the flowers floating in water.
