Ian, its about as far away from being coastal as you can get in the UK That would've been my clue if Kurt hadn't guessed it.

Must actually go to this place one day, the hill is an old Iron Age hill fort (with a nice big chunk sliced off by a quarry, ho him) and it a bunch of Anglo Saxon carvings inside.
