    A nice stitch, Graham! This was one of the first High Victorian buildings I came across when I moved to London in the late 1980s. I didn't have the knowledge then!

    I think this is the last surviving bit of the Doulton pottery works on Black Prince Road, Lambeth. It was their museum and art school.

    It may well have been designed or based on his designs, as there is a link by way of the original use that this building was put too.

    It looks so much like the Watson Fothergill designed buildings in the Nottingham area. I'm pretty sure it's not one of his though as the furthest south he ever got was Essex.
