It's the Watts Cemetery Chapel, in Compton village.
Having driven past it so many many times en-route to some place else, I really should make the effort and "shoot" the village.

It looks so much like the Watson Fothergill designed buildings in the Nottingham area. I'm pretty sure it's not one of his though as the furthest south he ever got was Essex.My flickrComment

I think this is the last surviving bit of the Doulton pottery works on Black Prince Road, Lambeth. It was their museum and art school.

A nice stitch, Graham! This was one of the first High Victorian buildings I came across when I moved to London in the late 1980s. I didn't have the knowledge then!
