OK, it's a stone circle, but looks modern rather than megalithic. Is that the Crystal Palace radio mast that I see on the horizon? If so, is the horizontal slab something to do with the Greenwich prime meridian?

You're in the right area with what you can see on the horizon. Although this is near the course of the Meridian I don't think it passes through here.
