    Indian hindu architecture (it doesn't look buddhist!) is not my field, but I've looked in my books and a suggestion is the Dharana-Vihara at Ranakpur.

      Well done Andrew.

      It's not Buddhist or Hindu but Jain. We visited Ranakpur in 1983, probably the most peaceful place I've ever been to.
      We visited India 3 times between 1983 and 1990, really should go back.

        Jain is very similar to Hindu, especially when they were both recovering from the Mughal (muslim) conquest.
