I'm not sure, I wasn't clever enough for that lot.

I'm also ancient and more than just a little bit cracked, keeled over in fact.

The kiosk is probably too daft for words so I'm hoping I'm wrong about those pineapples.

I think it's the Trinity College, Cambridge scion from Sir Isaac Newton's apple tree at Woolsthorpe Manor.

BTW, there's some doubt about (a) the story of the apple in the first place and (b) whether this or any of the others (Kew, York, Tokyo, MIT and maybe more) have really come from the Woolsthorpe tree. Sorry - end of lecture!

It's too sad. I had to phone each of my 3 sons last night, just needed to hear their voices after seeing and thinking about your picture.

I know where and what it is (in Germany) but I'm leaving it for someone else as I really don't have a suitable image to keep the thread going.

Do you have any more pics from there? If so maybe you could start a thread in the 'eye of the camera' forum and let us see them (after somebody else has fully identified the above).
