Sorry to read you have a problem with your back. I hope things improve soon. However, if the weather in Kent is similar to ours here then you aren't missing much. We have had cold winds and rain almost continuously since about 3pm yesterday.
Regards.
Ray.
Thanks for your reply Ray I managed to get out yesterday but not for long though. The weather here it's raining at the moment not that cold.
I decided to stretch the old legs on a 14 mile walk today, and I took a few snapshots along the way.
This is me trying out my phone camera's automated "panorama" feature again. The blue of the clouds to the right of the picture really were blue.
This the flood barrier where the River Darenth meets the Thames (you can just make out the flood barrier to the extreme left of the panorama shot, above). I was more interested in the sunlight effect off the cloud. I have one photo with a plane under the cloud reflecting the sunlight, too, but sadly my compact camera just isn't up to doing it justice.
Given the pending Hallowe'en, I thought this view of an industrial part of the Thames Path looked quite spooky. Sadly, the shot is poorly framed due to the weather getting the better of me.
Here are two shots of me seeing how my compact camera handles diminishing light (answer: not very well). It was difficult to take the shots as the rain was coming down and my camera isn't waterproof.
Yes I to noticed the pigeon in the canal pumping station photo. It looks so inviting that pathway along the canal. Now thats given your age away Ha HA.
