Thanks Svetlana, very posh toilet paper you have!

I thought I would do the next entry with my new compact camera, a Panasonic Lumix TZ30. It's only a small pocket size camera but I've been suprised at the features on it. This image was taken in macro mode with the lens approx 10mm away from the object, what is it?

ok.....

the photo is looking down onto the top of the object.

it's been lit it from underneath.

it was shot at about 24mm, so there's a fair degree of perspective distortion going on.

the outer black does NOT form part of the object (i shot it in a darkened kitchen)
