Damn, it was too easy. It was extremely icy on the top of that castle, but they still let you wander around up there.

Kurt, I recognised what I thought was Central Park as I've been there. Once that was confirmed I simply used Google Maps to match up what I saw on the photo with the aerial view in GM. I've also been to Boston and I felt Ian was way off as I don't remember any of those landscape features. So it's really a case of some knowledge with a bit of detective work.

Whilst I enjoy doing these challenges, I know if I guess the correct answer I then have to post a new photo which is becoming ever more difficult. So give me a little time for the next one.

I have been to Boston in the winter when it was very cold and snowing and there is a well known lake there with big swan-shaped pedalo type boats. Also, there didn't seem to be enough skyscrapers for New York .

I actually guessed Hereford, but couldn't find a church with a steeple, so I gave up.

This is the first time I've been onto my computer today. Went out for a meal last night and have had the dreaded D & V since 3 am and have been in bed all day. Just beginning to feel a bit better, but once again, so tired, so I will have to keep you waiting for a picture until tomorrow.

I've been racking my brains but I can't remember where it is although I can recall seeing that place several years ago. Is it somewhere on the River Severn?

Thanks for the hint Stephen, I now think it is Saltaire on the River Aire near to Shipley. It's a long time since I've been that way, but I don't think that scene would have chaged much.

Of course you are right. I knew Stephen had been some time ago, but this is not the normal pictures one sees. At least I didn't think so. I just liked the whole view with the factory, river and tree.
