A bit of detective work leads me to suggest that your image is Ravello Cathedral, although this contradicts your clue as it is not the other side of Italy to Rome

You are spot on - but my (poorly phrased) clue was actually referring to the other side from Venice!

Correct, it is Eden Camp museum. Apparently these road signs were placed in various wrong locations to confuse the German soldiers in the event of Britain being invaded!

Really? I was able to locate the place by triangulating some of the destinations and distances using Google Maps

I'll have something up shortly!
