  • November cycling in the UK - oh dear!

I was in the picture postcard village of Aldbury this morning to do some test shooting and there was a cycle race on. This chap was greeted with some enthusiastic applause...

and he was braking hard (see the rear wheel).

Didn't know which to do first...laugh or be amazed at the shot.

He was on the way down - he would have had to have climbed a fairly steep incline the other way; It was a balmy day here and I think he was ensuring he didn't over heat. Yes folks, global warming is real!

Amazingly sharp shot Ian together with good composition.

He should have had a logo emblazoned on his underwear and if he didn't win the race, he could have probably picked up a few "knicker" from advertising.

Have a nice holiday Audrey. Looking forward to seeing the pics. Do you need any one to carry your tripod?

Wahey! That's a brilliant picture so all my applause is for the photographer!

What's that small blue object(line) pointing at the tattoo on his arm? The blue dash that matches the trim of his knickers.

I think that is the mouthpiece for his drinks bottle which no doubt is housed in his backpack

I think you're probably right, thanks.

David has also pointed out to me that it's attached to a blue cord (or tape) which is hanging down from around his neck.

I think the husband must have come home early!

Is his back wheel off the ground or is that an optical illusion?
