Yes there is quite an improvement. Took the wind out of her sails and Pol having been a nurse was imagining all sorts of things was wrong with her. Now she know exactly what the score is I think she has come to terms with it. Time is the great healer and I'm sure she will make a full recovery.

      Re: in hospital

Hello peeps, managed to piggyback in. Trying to send shoppy pics as he has eastbthumbnails and kindle can't use it. Photos are huge files. Nice room and conservatory, dreading all Raymond session though. Not exactly happy but better than acute medical ward in main hospital.

Love you Audrey, you inspired me ... you really did. Trying my best. Just SO lost without David, my soul mate.

Food here superb. Weight now 5st 11lb two stone lost in two years due to injuries etc . Getting stronger using a frame, still no good with just a trekking pole. Still unable to wear shoes.

              Re: in hospital

From Pol today. A shot of her new room in the cottage hospital. Looks more like a hotel room to me. Refrigerator, what next a sauna? She asked me to say that the internet connection was erratic and she was having to piggyback to get on the forum. My mind boggles as to what's going on in that hospital.

Keep losing connection. Trying new tab on phone, see if it lasts better. Phone groaning with all the tabs and activities.
Just had breakfast, hot chocolate, corn flakes, croissant with butter and blackberry jam

Another shot of Pols Hotel room.

Bathroom door by entrance to conservatory. Hotels don't boot you out of bed at six in the morning .... or stick needles in you at 10.00pm as well as pumping you full of tablets. <<< sigh>>>

                  Pol. LOL

Don't boggle too much, Ron. It's not good for you, I know these things.

Got another pic but can a get connected on Kindle to send it. The local whatever it us must've secured their router so I can only grab the occasional poor/slow one for text.
Can a get my head around the fact the hospital has no internet!

In conservatory again. Nice in here. Ambulance driver who brought me dropped in to see how I was ... nice chap who had cardiac arrest a few years ago recovered and driving ambulances again. Very encouraging. My BP under control now.once a day low dose tablet at night along with Statin and anticoagulant injection as I'm not mobile enough yet therefore injection reduces risk of DVT.

Could be worse I suppose. At least it can be controlled with low dosages of this and that.

In Edenbridge, doing good here too.
No internet though, only very occasional, very erratic via phone. Grabbing those chances to keep Shoppy updated, his address seems to work for me. Drugs reduced, not so much like a zombie now. Physiotherapist and IT taking me home for a few hours soon so house and my ability to manage can be properly assessed, e.g. any new modifications etc that might make life easier for me. Feeling more hopeful, also regaining some weight, confidence still needs boosting though, ankles still hurt when walking, physio giving extra exercises that help, nurses massaging and moisturizing feet and legs.

TTFN in case I can't get back in for a while, if at all.

                                Latest news from Pol.

Yeah doing good. Internet VERY bad, erratic. Also running out of data allowance on phone, saving it for messages to Richard. Physio going well, off hypertensive drugs. BP remaining stable at moment. Poor stamina, physio nurses working on that, extra food. Exercises. Hard work here but seems to be paying off.

Be good, be careful. Regards to everyone.
