    Re: Stephens Diptych

Last few words on this topic. Thank God for that I hear. It would seem that another member raised these points regards the salon. That, it would seem, was quite OK. I'm sorry it was wrong of me to agree with them. For that I have stood in the firing line. I am following through with my signature, I've tried to show that things could be made better. Ok I've failed to convince you, but I did try. Now can I go and lay down.

Everybody is entitled to have his/her own opinion.
Opinions are different. Right or wrong opinions are proved only after testing unless the aspect they apply to, is a fact or a theorem.
Wrong is when someone is trying to force his opinion over another.
Professionals from hobbyists or amateurs are only distinguished by their photos and not by their equipment.

Salon and Competition are two different things and that needs to be clarified to avoid misunderstandings.
Nobody needs a DSLR to take a very good pictures.
A DSLR does not make someone a good photographer. Only photos are the proof for that.

An here is, how a small compact's well post-processed photo upsized at 12MP can compete against a pure 12MP DSLR's photo. Speaking of the Canon 5D in previous posts I used that camera.

I think you have proved the point beyond a doubt - we don't NEED top cameras to make a good image.

Beautiful rose George. I wish I could see it unobstructed
