You are so modest, you should spend more time on post processing than fancy framing
If you are referring to my Elephant's Eye picture (and I am only assuming you are because your comment followed my post), I have the following to say.
I assume you are sarcastically calling me "Modest" because I said I was pleased with my image. It was taken 4 years ago and at that time I was very pleased with it. I was not boasting. I am sure you are pleased with certain photographs you have taken - namely a recent one of your son, which was very good.
About my spending more time on "Post Processing". I am sure you are right. I just didn't know what else to do with it. I had darkened the top right corner, removing bright sunlight from between the trees and made an overall vignette to darken all corners slightly.
I know there is a shadow across the elephant's face but didn't know how to deal with that.
I would be grateful for any advice you can offer on how this image should have been Post Processed to improve it, and to this end, look forward to your reply.
The fancy framing is a "One Click Action" and the Post Processing was not neglected because I used it.
I love Pop's photo - mine aren't such close ups, as they're taken from the window of the house and the arch where we hang the feeding tubes is about 15-20 feet away.
This was almost like a polite queue...
This one's 'on the look out' for anyone coming in...
And my favourite - I know it's a bit out of focus, but hey, I like it
