      Thanks Barr1e, that's jogged the ol' memory and got me hunting (not for the first time!) for the water-colour effect I used on this picture from my gallery (which also fits the "blue sky" theme ). I shamelessly copied the technique from a magazine and I know I kept that article...somewhere. It's probably fallen foul of one of 'er indoors' "tidy-ups" ... I remember it was quite a complex (but not difficult) technique.

        Almost a wow shot. That is very good and I could possibly see a selling opportunity if it were framed.

            It was done in PhotoShop (probably CS2) using a technique described in a magazine article that I still can't find . I must admit it does look good printed - even on plain paper.
