Most Interesting. When asking Google Hazel Island + Denmark the very first link is to dpnow and one of your pix. Congratulations.

Thanks for your support with this thread.

                    How about this one?

The depth of the blue in the sky has been achieved by using a polarizer, but the give-away is the un-eveness of the blue across the sky

I took this on the beach south of La Rochelle, France, last week.

Its for this reason I never now use a poloriser. However if its to reduce reflection thats a different matter

I think the vignette in reverse effect of the polarizer in skies is mainly bothersome to photographers that have an educated 'palate' for their images. But I'll bet you that when I show this picture to David, with whom we stayed with last week, he'll love the sky...

As for reflections and polarizers - I have a few to showl I'll just dig'em out

The weekend approaches and I am hopeful of achieving more than I did today - photographically speaking. As the thread had almost died I thought I would revive it with another pic and perhaps suggest (providing it hasn't already been done) that another member may wish to start a new thread with, say, sunsets.

With ear defenders on we clicked away at the end of the runway.
