    Pops,

But there's no birds in the second shot!

As an angler I can appreciate these shots from another perspective! In fact, I'd like to be there right now....

Its very popular with anglers with many of them erecting small tents for overnight stays.
All I know about fish is they swim and come in steaks and fingers

Obligatory December Snow picture taken from my balcony. The first snow we have seen since moving here a couple of years ago.

Inspired by Kurt revisiting this old but very popular thread, here's one I did a while back:

Taken from the Campanile in St.Mark's Square, Venice, overlooking the Doge's palace. This is five vertical format shots stitched together in Photoshop CS4 Photomerge. It's produced a super print, even though I say it myself!

Thanks Ian, but then you went and topped it with yours! A great shot.

Mine was taken with the GF1, delighted with my early results and saving up (and waiting for a price reduction) for the GH2 and more lenses.

Time for a few more panoramas? Not the usual neat and colourful beach huts, but picturesque all the same.

An interesting view. It's on the dark side, which has boosted the saturation. Is that the effect you were looking for?
