    Re: Assignment Autumn!

I have been to Stanmer Park - went to a wedding reception in Stanmer House, which is where the picture in this thread was taken

The Palm Tree is at the rear of Stanmer house. The reson I took that was to give a bit of a contrast to the surrounding autumn scene.

Your picture is great too. I like the way it is not the usual trees and stuff, I really like that!

Paul - I do know Brighton slightly: my son was at uni there until last year, but I don't remember that bit! Possibly because I was usually taking him to his digs - the last set were in Old Steane with a wonderful view of the bubble blowing bus station

And I've had a thing about sunrise/set lately, we've had some crackers up here

I love the sky formation on the first one, Caz

Luvverly Pol. Nicely timed, with a good array of pastelly colours and great bokeh.

Would be nice to see the Church shot taken again in a couple of weeks or so.
                      Lovely setting for a Church.

                        Thank you.

I was trying out a new lens and that's one of the first off it.

The Pentax 50mm 1.4. Lighter and faster than my usual 50mm 2.8 macro

                            Fit to drop.
Just one of many trees in our woodland area that have kept me busy this last few weeks. I seem to spend far too much time raking up leaves.
