This is just a few minutes walk from my house:



They do a big show every year but this has to be their best effort; there's even snow on the lawn!

I was waiting for a lunch with turkey, but to show willing here is a smaller bird.

Hopefully this will be considered Christmass-y enough!

Taken on Friday night when we came out of the theatre in Northampton, this is the Guildhall decorated for Christmas with early-season party-goers in front. Taken with my Google Nexus 5x (the LG version) and just tidied up a little in Photoshop to remove noise!

A couple more from the weekend - we went to the "Save our Horton" Christmas bazaar - Banbury, like many other towns, faces losing vital NHS services. The maternity unit has already been downgraded to "midwife led", and any mother expecting any problems with birth is being sent to the John Radcliffe (25 miles down one of the worst stretches of the M40 - good luck with that). The same goes for A&E and other acute services.

In the first image, the raffle is being drawn. You can just see my mobile studio (and the other half - with the mohawk wig) in the background.



The second was a shot of the organisers for the local press

I do apologise for the annoying warning messages - everything is working but it all looks a flaky; I am getting closer to doing a major overhaul of the forum, as previously described. So thanks for persevering!
