                              Thanks for the clue, Andy.

                              I think this is Nottingham Arboretum (laid out 1852). It's the monument to the 59th (2nd Nottinghamshire) Regt. of Foot commemorating their exploits at the siege of Sevastopol and in the Opium Wars, designed by M. O. Tarbotton & built 1862/3.

                              I'd never heard of Tarbotton, but I see that he also built the Trent Bridge.

                              This quiz keeps me looking at things I should know but don't. Long may it continue!

                                Yep, you've got it, nice one.

                                Fun fact; apparently 2 of the cannons are from Sevastopol, the other 2 are replicas.
