Re: Challenge: Where is this? IV
Oh, I've seen this somewhere. Is it on or near London's South Bank, towards the East End?Stephen
Just take it easy. There's always tomorrow. And if tomorrow doesn't come, you won't have wasted any effort on it.

Re: Challenge: Where is this? IV
That's an interestingly phrased question! If he says 'yes' it's not at Victoria Dock and if he says 'no' it is at Victoria Dock.
This long running thread seems to be a bit of a three horse race with an occasional outsider like myself popping in

Re: Challenge: Where is this? IV
Stephens more or less in the right area. It's the Pilgrim fathers statue(I think called the Pilgrims pocket) at Rotherhithe.
I've walked pass here many times, I'm not to keen on this statue and much prefer the new Dr Salter statue about 500 yards further into town.
St Mary's church just round the corner if worth a visit though.Being left handed my brain sometimes works sdrawkcab

Re: Challenge: Where is this? IV
Neigh! Seriously, I'm afraid it can seem so, athough Andy and I sometimes don't answer (even if we know) to try to get more interest from others. I suspect it will run until it's down to two participants! Any ideas on how to make it more popular would be welcome (by me at least).Originally posted by mike_j View PostThis long running thread seems to be a bit of a three horse race with an occasional outsider like myself popping in

Re: Challenge: Where is this? IV
I would suggest posting something that others might just have a clue about. Most of the images are historical - churches, parts of architecture, ancient statues - often from the south of England where people may have walked past in their daily walk.Originally posted by Andrew Riddell View PostNeigh! I like pretty things and interesting scenes - even places where I may have travelled, but something colourful to catch my eye.
