Re: Post shots you took today!

I had to drive about 5 miles to get out of residential areas to get to these clouds and by then they weren't what I had seen originally. Oh well, I guess you take what you can get.

A very angry looking sky, similar to what we are experiencing at the moment.

A pleasant bright morning today walking around Priory Wood, and just a hint of autumn in the air.

Taken with the E-PL3 and kit lenses and processed in LR4.

            Regards Paul.

Was testing out a new macro lens this evening:

                  Olympus m.Zuiko 60mm f/2.8 Macro - 1:1

It's UK 5 pence piece, by the way.

Driving by Wethersfield Cove in Connecticut at sunset this evening. I had my wife's little Canon point-and-shoot in the van and got this shot.

It would be hard to beat that macro shot with any other macro lens, thats the new 60mm I gather? John.

I see that you have used the 60mm lens.

Looking at them now they don't look focused John

The focus is on the material at the top of the frame behind the lens a couple of stops extra would improve the depth of field too

This shot was taken with the E3 Zuiko 35mm lens

I am quite happy with this one. I like your photo with that 60mm lens a lot more detail in my opinion.

I suggested you stop the lens down but this is a wider aperture than before!
