I've never been as scared as coming down the expressway from the airport at night.
been in and out since '72 Andy so fully agree. What upsets me more than anything is the fact that 10 years ago I would have had no problem walking through Lagos or PH (never could in Warri in the last 20 years!). Cannot do it now. The airport road is OK now as long as you are not heading into VI or out to Lekki.
Just because cliches are cliches does not make them wrong. I do like walking in the rain.
We mix the 'choppy' (those swede and carrot pieces) together to freeze them and use them to make what we call earthy murphies. An earthy murphy is a large baked potato filled with the choppy and covered with large knobs of butter ... yummy
'Earthy Murphy' because all the veg are root veggies. Delicious with slices of cold meat off the remains of the joint or maybe with a quarter chicken.
The high winds and rain this morning caused the submarine to break free from its moorings - thus causing the loss of the divers hand.

Their extended family is busy planting a peanut farm in the area David whizzed with the cultivator. They're also very busy panting an Oak tree forest on the back lawn.

Some skiing friends were arguing about who invented aerials and most picked Stein Eriksen. I was able to inform them that aerials have been around a bit longer.....
