Some people at one of DPNow's sibling sites (e-group.uk.net) wanted to know what I did on my birthday the other day. Basically, I took lots of pictures of one of my daughters *lol
I thought I'd show them here as well:
These shots of my younger daughter, Lara, were all taken using an Olympus E-420 and 25mm f/2.8 'pancake' lens, initially processed from RAW in Olympus Studio and then exported as JPEG (I forgot to save as an EXIF JPEG, so there is no EXIF data in the images, sorry, but there are some notes in the gallery) and then tweaked a bit in Lightroom:

Shot at ISO 1600, this is my favourite.

Lara got some unflattering shots of me which I'm not showing here!

Shot at f/2.8 and ISO 400 - I quite like the glowing quality of the light.

Also shot at f/2.8 and ISO 400.

Lastly, quite low key, this one - maybe not to everyone's tastes? Also f/2.8 at ISO 400.
No pix of Elizabeth, my older daughter - she's a bit camera shy at the moment!
