    Re: Order out of chaos

I really like the effect you have got there Stephen, think the enlargement shows it off a lot better.
The image of mine Stephen is talking about HERE Is a three shot HDR but with slow shutter speeds so its not to far off what Stephen was doing.

This shot on the other hand is just one frame with a slow shutter speed.

Andrew, although I can appreciate the quality of your photograph & the skill it entails, my personal feelings for this trend of moving water shot is, that to me it looks like a white maltese terrier, slightly out of focus, climbing up a stone wall! I don't mean to sound rude....I guess its just my mindset that prefers clarity, as nature itself is so perfect! mans interpretation in this sense does not do justice to that fact! That of course is just my personal view! Nothing against your work as I really enjoy & admire the majority of it!

interesting I'm 180o the other side of that i think the imperfection of nature is what makes it fascinating. Nothing is perfect its the flaws that make it beautiful for want of a better word.

                  Me too.

She's beautiful too - almost as beautiful as Andrew's shot.

Makes you want to get in there and show her where the soap is.

                      Stephen,

Maybe I'm getting this all wrong, but I think...

What you are trying to Display here.

If you look at the water falling, It seems like everything is Chaos... Water Just Falls over the "Fall"

But taking 10 Shots... and Combinding them.... It seems like the Water is taking the same direction...

More to the left... and little to the right..

                      Am I understanding this Correct..

Regardless of witch shot looks the Best.. You tried to Show the Similarity.. in 10 Shots Combined ?

Is this the idea here ?

Pretty much the idea Lou yes. Though I'm not asking for which is the best, even which people prefer. Its just illustrating the principle. Don't forget all taken at 1250th sec too
