Halloween Local Tradition

Halloween in Greece was last week and always 40 days before Easter.
It is celebrated all over the country according to different local traditions.
In my country place the tradition is people to dress with old clothes, wear masks, take all necessary precautions and throw flour mixed with color dust paint to each other and all objects that happen to be around them!

The entire little town turns colored and incredibly dusty at the end. The next day the Town's Mayor pulls out all cleaning crew and equipment along with the Fire Brigade to wash out the town.
So here are some photos of what is going on every year during that day.

A nice colourful set of pictures George. It looks to be a fun event full of photo oportunities. We actually saw something on the National News here about this event, so obviously it is becoming known outside of Greece too. Thanks for showing them.

Thanks for looking and commenting too.
Next year take your equipment and come down. Lot's of stuff like this to photograph and lot's of chocolates and candies to collect being thrown away from the Halloween vehicles in the parade.

Probably you saw the Halloween Celebration in the city of "Patra", since in this city is the biggest parade from all other cities in Greece.

Neither do I - I think George may have removed the pictures from his gallery, so then that would leave nowhere to 'link' to - but someone correct me if I'm wrong!

Hey guys,

Let me see what is going on with the photos.
I haven't removed them from my galleries.
I will check to see where is the problem and in the worst case I will just copy the link of the gallery where they are located.

I got very busy lately with this photo exhibition I'm participating and didn't have time to check frequently the forums. Hopefully it will be over this weekend.

Of course I would like Pol. I tried to do it by myself but my initial post was old and doesn't offer anymore the "edit" option.
Remove them please. Or maybe it would be a good idea if you could move the new links into the initial post so all photos can be in the initial post.
