Maybe you will miss me more from now on, as I got a couple of offers in the photography exhibition gallery, to work for a company that does advertising photography and another company doing Architecture leaflets.

We will see. Definitely I will do one of them on my spare time (there is no specific working hours for both of them) as it will bring me around a 800 British Pounds (1200 Euros) extra per month.

Ok .... the pictures are now showing again in the original post, so I've 'soft deleted' the later posts so that the pics aren't showing twice (and I've also soft deleted some of our posts about fixing the thread so it looks a bit tidier)

'Soft delete' means I can put the posts back again if George doesn't like the way I fixed the thread. (I only removed george's repost of the pics and my own response offering to try to tidy the thread) .. is that ok now, George?

          Very nice! Congratulations!

Don't forget to drop in every so often and say hello to us mere mortals when your rolling in money, head-hunted and sought after with your pictures on billboards all around the world.

            Thanks for the salute Pol
I don't know, if my photos will be on Billboards around the world, but I will be happy if they will be at least around Athens and possible other big Greek cities.
I will not abandon DPNow. I just don't know if I will be able to watch many times per day the forum as I do now, except the last 10 days that I was running to prepare everything for the exhibition and be present there 3-4 hours per day.
For sure, I will watch the forum at least once per day and probably be able to write or to reply into some posts.
But let's first wait and see how things will finally turn out with these offers I got.

I'm off to rest a little now as I have to be in the evening in the gallery for a few hours again.

Fab photos George - I particularly like the third one. Is anyone fair game as a target? I noticed that a number of people in the last shot appear to be unscathed. Weren't you worried that your kit might cop for it?

Fab photographs and a nice insight in to how other cultures celebrate.

                    Congrats on your increased workload

Fantastic recording of the action and colour of the paint fun/games in the vehicles and they have the all important real "live" feel to them. Looks like a good festival for the photographer.
Who does the mopping up LOL?

Wopppaaaa The photos are great George! I am glad we got the opportunity to see them. Thanks to both you & Pol! Fascinating to see other cultures & traditions! If & when you get a chance, it would be fantastic to see some pics of traditional bazouki players & dancers, perhaps from the tabernas! I used to love watching & listening to Greek music & dancers. Music by Hadjidakis or Theodorakis used to be some of my mums (& my) favourite! Hope you don't think me too forward in suggesting the above.

                              Jocelyn,
I find you to be very informed of the Greek culture.
Send me a private message with your e-mail and I will send you Greek Bouzouki Instrumental in mp3 format (many of them little by little).
I cannot promise you that I will be able to do it till the end of this weekend, until the exhibition is over but I will do it for sure starting next week.
