IanJust got a bee house up. Had one last year and spent hours watching them take up residence, lay their eggs and seal the holes.
They don't mind me at all and I stand just a couple of feet away.

I guess these are solitary bees? Looks fairly straightforward - you need some bamboo cut into lengths
