I would be very happy with these results using the canon 400mm lens. would you say that the M-1 is a great improve compared to the M-5? John. -

I think the most important improvement is the quality of the image in the EVF, which greatly assists in manual focusing. Focus peaking also helps occasionally. I'm not sure I can see much difference in IQ but I get more keepers when using MF.Originally posted by escallonia View Post

Thanks David did you use EOS-M4/3 adapter? I think that IQ is better, not knowing what percentage of crop you made colours are brilliant.Comment

Yes I used the dumb adapter with diaphragm. However with this lens the diaphragm can cause vignetting which is not so much of a problem if you intend to crop. The crop on these is about 1:2 (50%).Originally posted by escallonia View Post
