    Now I can see this on the big monitor at the office it does look a bit too dark - will re-do this definitely.

            I agree. This last one (nearer the original) is a cracker, with lots of detail and lovely colours.

            The other one (the one you brightened up) had lost the Aurora 'ToTo' details completely and made everything else too bright.

            It's a very attractive, fascinating scene.

                  I found all your images of Shanghai and some of its people very interesting. Especially the Chinese Opera singers. The definition of that shot was exceptional. Just one point though - if this is work then I clearly chose the wrong career !

                    Thanks Ray. I must revisit my Nikon J1 and N1 shots as the ones I posted at the time were all from JPEGs as RAW development wasn't yet supported by Lightroom.
