I like the choice of mono tone a lot. Interesting that you have rotated the image

          Excellent subject choice.

I had great pleasure in going through all my pictures and selecting a choice, but as it is the season to be be jolly.......

          Joy!

This is my nephew Brennan, who has starred in many of my pictures, he is mad keen on coconut shys (spelling?) and is a bit of a demon on 'em!

Heres the one from his school fete, and I decided to print this out on A3 poster size so he could pop it on his wall.

Josh I hope I've put my entry forward in the right way as I am still unsure of how to do this. Have posted to the gallery under macro to begin with! Then made the link, is that correct?

                      Hi,

Here's my entry - the first since joining. The subjects are my grand nephew and his grandfather. It's the first grandchild for him. The baby was born three months early. Emotions were high for the first few weeks. The boy is doing just fine now.

I realise this is the salon and I shouldn't really clutter the place with comments .... but that is just so touching. I'm so glad to hear the little chap is doing well now too.

First week gone and it is great to see so many entries and from first time posters as well. Welcome all.

If you are lurking behind the scenes, come in and post, very friendly atmosphere and "you have to be in it to win it"

there is a small chance I have borrowed that phrase.

                              Best Regards

Jim, that's a very touching picture. The baby looks well and very content, yet his grandad still looks a wee-bit apprehensive.

A very special one for the family album.
