Hi Horacio, it's at a volcano lake in Tagaytay, the Philippines. There was once a super volcano there and the lake now contains a smaller volcano which has formed the island in the centre. The picture was taken from the rim of the old volcano, using a Zuiko Digital 7-14.

          Hi,

Here's my entry. Taken out of an aeroplane window on my recent trip to Gran Canarias. It is Spain below - I think!

Typical scene of a storm building up over the marshes.

Thanks Jay, though I have to say there is an awful cyan cast on it when viewed in IE. I have blogged about this problem here:

Missed the last Salon as I was away - well done Stephen and runners up.

Here is my entry for No 66 - taken from a beach in Jamaica earlier this year.

                          Hi all,

My previous persons (ddigit) had problems logging on so I have changed my logon identity.
The image attached I took a month or so ago in the McKenzie country, Canterbury, New Zealand. The tree was the attraction but the sky added the drama

Hi Trevor, glad to see you back! I had three others test out your old account and we couldn't find any problems at our end, so I think we'll just have to label that one a mystery and move on - as you have!.

Fingers crossed that your problems are at an end and we can all enjoy more of your fabulous photography!

I was just looking at your gallery yesterday and thinking what fabulous photographs you submit (and wondering how you do it). Are they HDR images? I personally have missed seeing them and hope you will post more frequently.
