Since recently going fully mac, Im gradually exploring the wonders of all the mac programs. Ive found iphoto a nice program to browse and slideshow your pictures with, however it seems to stop there with its plus points unfortunately.
Ive always liked being in full control of my images and no exactly where they are and what is saved and where.
The problem is after loading all images into iphoto from a folder, if any images are moved or folders altered iphoto does not seem to rescan and update its library, unlike say picasa!
Also if you do a quick edit on a pic it does not give you the option to save the original as it was, or what file format for the new image or where to save it.
I want to cut down on the amount of programs and simplify my workflow and this together with elements seemed like a good solution.
Any advice or tips.
Ash.
