I was at the station to go home and actually had the camera put away ready to board the DLR train which was imminent. This strange light appeared around Canary Wharf and I got the camera out again and had a go.

Althoiugh this is a static scene - it's a good catch Another example of where having a camera with you can prove bountiful.

The dome does give the impression that it's on the north side of the river with the rest of canary wharf because of the bend in the river. I never been able to take a picture because I've always been driving! Sorry officer I was just...

Hi,
I know that scene well, never thought to take a picture though, the elements sure came together for you to get a cracking image. looks like late light, weather and air and light polution came together just for you to get this oportunity, well spotted and taken.
