Is there anybody who can give me a clue or two?
I want to remove an adapter from Nikon 105mm/f2.8 lens. I attached the adapter two years ago in order to use the lens for Canon 20D.
When I tried to detach the adapter a few times later, I made a mistake repeatedly and tried to rotate the lens counter clockwise. I simply forgot that I had to rotate it just clockwise to remove it.
Now the adapter is just sticky and do not move either way.
- a reason why I think Nikon is stubborn.

It seems you know quite well that such an adapter is more priceless these days than some of old lenses - this one is non D type which I got 20 years ago or so when I was also a Nikon user.
- I appreciate any opinions from anybody.
- off to the kitchen
- but after reading your suggestion I think I will give a second thought before actually doing /destroying it.
