I know. I was just surprised that it was 60 Hertz. It seems OK.

    I found it by accident.

A couple of days ago I calibrated my monitor. Called it Audrey's Monitor with the date. It acknowledged my new name and said that all the Adobe programs had been set with it and that I need not do anything.

Today I noticed that the Generic Monitor was displayed and when I used the drop down menu, my new Monitor was not there.

I looked in C: \Windows\system32\spool\drivers\color - and sure enough "Audrey's Monitor Profile 18.10.08." was listed.

I just wonder why it is not the default profile.

There was a thread a couple of months ago when Roger gave me a lot of help to find and set my profiles.

I will have a trawl and see if I can find out why my profile is missing.

Unless anyone has an instant answer for me.

60Hz is quite normal for an LCD panel. Do you notice any flicker? CRT tubes were prone to flicker at lower frquencies, but this really isn't a problem with LCDs.
