Re: Hello from Colombia
Hi David - pardon me for saying so but your name doesn't seem very Colombian - are you an ex-pat.?Originally posted by DavidKnox View PostHi everybody, , I learn from the experience of all and their comments help me improve. happy shots
We're always interested in solving problems and exchanging ideas. Colombia must provide you with lots of photographic inspiration?

I've just spent an enjoyable 15-20 minutes or thereabouts looking through David's gallery and it would appear that it certainly does!Originally posted by Ian View Post......... Colombia must provide you with lots of photographic inspiration?

Re: Hello from Colombia
Hello Ian.
Colombia is a beautiful country full of contrasts and reflect this in images is very rewarding. But being photographer here is very difficult . Violence, intolerance and often a lack of respect and collaboration from the authorities, few job opportunities and pay very bad especially when you work free lance a little complicated live for this, for the images. But good, says graffiti very inspiring one of the streets of Bogota "****, man, we can not always live in fear." So here I go ... Learning to live without fear and registering all I can on this beautifull Colombia.
DavidKnox is my nickname. My real name is David Garzon, knox what use reminding Mickey and mallory Knox (Natural Born Killers). I like a lot of movies by Oliver Stone, Tarantino, Kurick, Tim Burton ...

Re: Hello from Colombia
Thank you for your comments pol. And you have reason, situations like this are very often in the streets of major cities. Our society is very uneven and citizen protests and marches are quite common. In the countryside the situation is more complicated.
