Just add the forum to my Tapatalk app on the iPhone and started browsing around.

I have been in to photography since the late '70s but never have spent the time developing the skills that I should.

Currently shooting with Canon gear, the 20D, moved to digital form the EOS 5 (the one with eye controlled focus)

Used Yasica film back in the day.

Anyway, love the outdoors, RVing with wife and the dog and I am restoring an old, 1966 jeep CJ. It's only a year younger then I am. I am a tech geek by trade so I love anything electronic.

So that's me in a nutshell, look forward to participating in the forum.

As a kid I remember as a family we had a Yashica half frame camera. I never realised that one day (back in 1999) I would be able to visit the HQ of the company that manufactured Yashica (and Contax) cameras in Japan - Kyocera Corp. in Kyoto.

I certainly wish I was in Sacramento to enjoy your sunshine and a visit to California is overdue since my last visit to Anaheim for the last independent PMA photo trade show in early 2010

Hope you will use your free gallery space and show us some photos too!

I know, they can be hilarious! My friend once had a Dane, a huge dog that she called "Tiny".

Tiny used to enjoy chewing the round knob off the top of the Newel both top of the stairs and at the bottom of the stairs. The daft dog then used to bring it or roll it along the floor to someone hoping they might throw if for her to play with like a ball.
