Newbie to this forum

Hi everyone.
I'm new to this forum, but not to photography.

I lost my mojo for a long while last year and early this year, and sold all my gear apart from my lovely little xz1... now I have been getting back into photography again... slowly but surely the interest is coming back.

Thanks for the welcome...

A trip to Florida, with a canoe trip along one of the rivers, seeing nature in a different way, with a different "light". I had my trusty xz1 with me and managed to get a couple of shots of the large Alligators sunning themselves less than 6ft from me... and then the reflections of the trees in the still water too seemed to rekindle something I thought I had lost.

I'm happy with getting a shot of a gator... or even being close enough to get a shot.

The two I got arent masterpieces, I was just so pleased to be able to see them in their natural habitat. Maybe NEXT time I'll see if I can get the boat to go a bit closer

I have 95,000 shots in my Lightroom catalogue and I haven't yet added my Florida swamp shots from 2006 when I was lucky enough to be there! I have some gator shots too

This is a catalogue of all my shots over about 15 years since I started using digital.

I'm still adding old photos!
