Hello, from the south coast of UK

Hi guys.
I have come along to meet you all, and to keep acquainted with some photography members, who i know here.

I have come from another photographic forum, where I was shown a link to this place

I live on the south coast of the UK. I love wildlife photography, among other themes.
Didn't say that I was good at it!
Just that it is my favourite subject.

At the moment I am using a Canon EOS 50D + various lens.

Will upload some stuff to show you soon
Once I have got the hang of this forum

It's great seeing you here, you really are very welcome. You really are good at your favourite subject too so we're all looking forward to seeing some of your pics.

Just take your time and get used to the workings of the board. It'll soon fall into place.

Gotta go and reboot. My 'Puter's playing up atm. Hopefully it'll be ok with a reboot.

My 'puter's still ok after 5 minutes so maybe it's my lucky evening.

For uploads ... gallery space is made available automatically for registered members. I forget offhand how much space you get but it's a lot ... and Ian will usually help out and make more space available to you if you're starting to run out. He does that because he prefers people not to delete stuff from their gallery, most especially if the picci has been used in a thread.

To upload to your gallery ... click on "Galleries - then go to "Upload Phoos" (which is far right along grey strip at the top of the Gallery index page.

You'll also notice "My Albums, My Gallery, My Favourites" on the left side of that same grey strip. All self explanatory. Beneath that (in brackets) you'll see 'Messages' which is how and where you'll be able to see the messages and comments anyone left under any of your pics.

And, to my horror ... I've just discovered a message there from Shoppy! I suspect he must've used that route thinking he'd left me a PM ... and it's dated July 21st telling me about the "Digital Passion" subsection.

OMG - I'm sorry Shoppy (Ron). Didn't see it until now as I usually get email notifications about any comments for my my gallery pics ... though none for unrelated 'messages'. I really am so sorry. Better to use the PM route in future. But the good news is I did see Digital Passion anyway ... before TT did the dirty deed.

Anyway ... No doubt Pops will also help you and Rab with the forum and gallery workings if there's nobody else around.

I tend to be a Landscapes man Garry, but I'll try most things given the opportunity. I don't posses a macro lens though so closeups tend to be out

BTW, if you click on a members name and go to their profile, you will find all sorts of info including some of their latest photos in their gallery

Not allowed quite as big file sizes here. Not that, that is a problem.

Welcome Garry - new blood is most welcome (no I'm not a vampire ).
